We christened her “Delilah” before she was laid to rest.
Our first beach day was supposed to start off with surf lessons, but we got rained out and our lesson was canceled. But since we were already there, we decided to wait it out.
It was touch and go there for a while, waiting to see if the weather would clear.
We sat in the car and watched it rain.
And waited.
And sweated.
And texted.
And tweeted.
And facebooked.
And sweated some more.
And then the sun came back out.
