Photos of the Saint Augustine Nights of Lights 2012
These photos were taken on Thanksgiving night as we waddled around old Saint Augustine with extremely full bellies, attempting to allow gravity to assist in the digestive process. I love Saint Augustine every day of the year with it’s history and architecture and ghosts, but it’s especially magical at Christmastime. What is it about twinkle lights that transform the mundane into the magical? I’m thinking I need to hang some year-round twinkle lights around my house, just to keep the festive spirit going even when Christmas is 6 months away, it’s 100+ degrees outside, and we’re just not feeling so festive.
