[Places I’ve Roamed] Going to the Sun Road, Glacier National Park

Sights from Glacier National Park on our first trip across the Going to the Sun Road:

Obligatory family pose in front of the entrance sign. Unfortunately, when Grandma is in charge of the camera, the shots aren’t always the best. But I’ll take what I can get. At least I’m in a few.

See that zig-zaggy road way up high? That’s where we’re headed.

Great views from the Sun Road.

The red bus tours have been around since the early 1900’s and are still going strong today.

 More beautiful views. Awesome.

Mountain goats in the middle of the road. All the tourists hopped out of their cars to take photos and caused a goat jam.

Big horned sheep relaxing near the summit.

Once again, Grandma is behind the camera. I almost got squeezed out of this one entirely. Almost. You see who is front and center in this photo. (Yes, the grandma on this trip is Sam’s mom. Go figure who would be front and center!)

Ice melt waterfalls directly on the road.

Another Casey photo. Love that kid.
