It’s always nice to have company in town and nicer still to have an occasion to celebrate. We’d missed Grandma’s birthday in September, so we jumped on the chance to take her out on the town and show her a good time while she was visiting this weekend. Yes, the Chart House is delicious. The macadamia nut encrusted Mahi is sensational and although I can tolerate eating a fillet of fish, fish eggs are where I draw the line. How people like that kind of stuff remains a mystery to me.
But have no fear, the calories I saved by not eating the fish eggs, I more than made up for with the hot chocolate lava cake…
